Standards-Aligned Online Learning
Our online classes are thoughtfully designed with students’ academic needs in mind. Each course is aligned with applicable California state standards for the grade levels served, helping families easily incorporate engaging enrichment into their homeschool program. Students will learn through engaging, instructor-led lessons and receive age-appropriate printables and activities to reinforce their learning at home. Each course also includes a special gift or hands-on item designed to make the learning experience memorable and bring the subject to life beyond the screen.

K–3 | California Communities & Life Long Ago $60
2 Mondays in October
Art Join us online as we step back in time and explore what life was like in early California! Students will follow along as we visit an authentic schoolhouse, meet a blacksmith, and encounter a fur trapper while learning about communities, daily life, geography, and the diverse people who helped shape California. This engaging virtual experience brings California history to life in a way that is fun and accessible for young learners

Grades 4–8 | California & the American West $60
2 Mondays in October
Travel back in time with us as we explore early California and the American West! Students will virtually follow along through our Ghost Town as we visit an authentic schoolhouse, meet a blacksmith, and encounter a fur trapper. Along the way, we’ll explore California’s geography, frontier life, migration, trade, and the many cultural groups that contributed to the development of California and the West.

High School | California History: People, Culture & Change $60 for one class
Take a deeper look at the people, cultures, economic forces, migration, and historical events that shaped California and the American West. Students will virtually join us as we explore an authentic Ghost Town, examining artifacts, occupations, communities, and frontier life while connecting these experiences to larger themes of California and American history. Students will be encouraged to think critically about how different groups contributed to the development and transformation of the region.

Mrs. Nunez has completed college courses in mathematics (through Calculus 3), Science (Biology, Microbiology, Anatomy & Physiology, Chemistry), and writing. She has been tutoring for over 28 years and teaching classes since 2014.

2nd–3rd Grade | Art Course with Writing $400

Students will explore the worlds of art, music, writing, and grammar through an engaging, hands-on course. They’ll study Picasso, Monet, and Van Gogh and create artwork inspired by their styles, while listening to the music of Tchaikovsky. Writing instruction will incorporate Step Up to Writing, along with grammar resources such as Easy Grammar, building skills in sentence structure, organization, and written expression.
Students will memorize the works of famous artists and composers.

Grades 4–6 | Art Course with Writing $400

Students will explore art, music, writing, and grammar through an engaging and creative course. They’ll study Picasso, Monet, and Van Gogh, create artwork inspired by their styles, and listen to the music of Tchaikovsky. Writing instruction will use IEW’s American History-based curriculum, developing strong writing, organization, and grammar skills while connecting language arts to the study of American history.
Students will memorize the works of famous artists and composers.

Middle School |

Give your middle schooler extra support and instruction each week with our Wednesday Online Tutoring Program. Students will meet online throughout the semester for focused help in writing, math, and science. This flexible program provides students with guidance, accountability, and individualized support as they work through their homeschool assignments and strengthen important academic skills.

Adventures in US History
$200 per month
Tuesdays 1pm
Set out on a month-long adventure through American history! Students will hear engaging stories about famous Americans, explore important American documents, and build a strong foundation of U.S. history memory work. They’ll also work toward memorizing all 50 states and their capitals while discovering the people, places, and ideas that have shaped our nation.
We'll even learn some classical American Songs including our National Anthem.

Memory Expedition $750 per semester
10 weeks
Mrs. Lepenske
Build a strong foundation of knowledge with 10 weeks of structured memory work in science, art, math, language arts, and history. Students meet online weekly for a live, engaging class where they’ll learn memory techniques through fun games and activities that make memorization enjoyable. Families also receive access to our online hub with hundreds of printables and resources aligned to California state standards, providing extra practice and enrichment throughout the course.

Grades 4–6 | Astra Tutorial $1150
